The announcement was made by MFF Co-Founder Andreas Wettstein, and New World Digital Co-Founder Mark Carter. Mammoth Film Festival is the first film festival to partner with New World Digital Entertainment Group and offer the winning filmmakers this extensive prize package.
“Digital distribution is the future for film, and after a series of conversations with Andreas, we decided that festival partnerships are a unique way to bring that future to independent filmmakers,” said Mr. Carter.

“It’s exciting to offer the winners such a truly valuable prize after all their hard work, and we’re happy to have Mark, and New World, as a partner,” said Mr. Wettstein. “We look forward to some great success stories.”
Mammoth Film Festival is scheduled for November 13-23, 2008, in Mammoth Lakes, California, and winners will be announced on the closing night of the festival.
