Festival Prize Package for Mammoth Winners

Very exciting news! All feature films and short films in competition at this year’s Mammoth Film Festival will be vying for two fantastic prizes. This deal has been in the works for some time, but we’ve just been able to officially announce it.

Through our prize partner, New World Digital Entertainment Group, Mammoth Film Festival is offering a prize package to the 2008 Best Picture winner (the top overall feature film), and to the 2008 Best Short Film winner (the top overall short).

Here’s how it works:
The Best Picture Prize includes: 1000 DVD-5 retail packages of the winning film, a customized e-commerce solution (design, development, and maintenance), and a 5-year non-exclusive distribution setup through New World Digital’s worldwide network of physical and digital partners.
The Best Short Film Prize includes: 250 replicated DVD-5 units of the winning short film, a customized e-commerce solution (design, development, and maintenance), and a 5-year non-exclusive distribution setup through New World Digital’s worldwide network of physical and digital partners.

New World Digital has a network of digital distribution partners which includes iTunes, Amazon Unbox, Real Rhapsody, and others, with more names being added all the time. In addition, they distribute content for physical fulfillment through a network of burn-on-demand kiosks in over 20 countries around the globe.

We here at the Festival are very happy to be able to offer the winning filmmakers a prize that represents both the physical and virtual aspects of the future of film, through the DVD units, as well as the potential access to a worldwide audience!
